PECK KS CAR SHOW
-anyone who wants to caravan to the Peck Car Show this Saturday, we will be leaving the Mulvane American Legion at straight up 8 am.
CLUB & SHOWDOWN SHIRTS---on sale!!
-we have shirts for just $10, let me know what you want and I will save them for you. Here are the sizes and how many we have: Club Shirts, 5 small (in gray & black), 6-medium (in gray & black), 10-large (in gray & black), 6-XL (gray only), 4-2XL (gray only), 3-3XL (gray & black).

MINUTES of CLUB MEETING---MAY 16TH
-nearly 40 attended the meeting.
-Welcomed new members Rick Neal and Charlie Stewart.
-Treasurer report--all is good.
-discussed pros and cons of Showdown---we will add a swap meet to next years show, and gift cards as door prizes.
-2025 Showdown is now on April 12th, it was moved a week ealier due to Easter falling on April 19th.
-the volunteer dinner is set for September 15th at 1 pm at the Legion, we will be having lasagne, garlic bread and salad. Members will still need to bring your favorite dessert to share.
-the website calendar is at a point where we will be sitting up a fee schedule to start selling ads to sponsors.
-discussed and decided to ask Kelli Chrisco to set up a members only Facebook page for members, this will be a good way for members to communicate with each other, especially to see who's going to what shows--more info to come.
-discuss the QR cards that show all the calendar events, everyone needs to pick up some to hand out when you go to any car event.
-club voted to donate $12,500 to: Honor Flight, Toys for Tots, FROG diner, High School Metals class, Bluesky Boys Ranch, Childrens Fund, Mulvane American Legion & Park rock. Presentation of the check(s) will be at the June meeting.
-this was our 10th year of Showdown at the Kansas Star, over the last 10 years the Club has donated over $110,400 to local charities and non profit organizations---way to go MARAUDERS!!!!
NEXT CLUB MEETING---JUNE 20TH
--Mulvane American Legion at 6:30. We will be presenting the check(s) from Showdown.
MULVANE JULY 4TH PARADE---need to know by June 30th
-the Mulvane Chamber would like the Marauders to be in the July 4th parade, just like we have in years past. This year the parade will start at 11 am, should be a little cooler starting earlier. We will line up in front of the Primary School as usual. They need to know how many of us will be in the parade so they can block off an area at the City Park for us. CLUB DINNER---SEPTEMBER 15TH--need to know by September 9th
the club Dinner is scheduled for Sunday, September 15th at 1:00, so get this on your calendars, please let Cheryl at cherylabs001@gmail.com or 316-209-8422 or Steve Nichols, stevegnichols@ yahoo.com or 316-670-0240 if you plan to attend and how many, as always you can bring family or friends for $10 per plate, kids under 5 are free. We will have a 50/50 pot and drawings for prizes. The menu will be: lasagna, garlic bread and salad, as usual bring your favorite dessert for everyone to enjoy, there will be a 50/50 pot, and drawing for prizes
CLUB WEBSITE SHOWS---the new club cards are available to everyone.
-over 240 events/shows have been added to the website, go check them out!! So far in May we have had 1,972 views, thats 123 views per day.

CLUB WEBSITE--if we don't have pics of your vehicle(s) on the website, send the pics to stevegnichols@yahoo.com and we will put them on the website. Remember you can also sell auto related items on the website.
-we would like to get the website updated, please check your information and see if it is correct, we need to delete any vehicle you no longer have and add any new ones you might have, if you are unable to get on the website or have forgotten your password please let me know and we will send it to you. If you are unable to upload a picture of your vehicle(s) send them to me and I will load them for you. We get lots of request for vehicles for Proms, Weddings, Birthdays etc, we usually tell them to look at the pics on the website and who owns the vehicle, if they contact you, its up to you if you want to help them, most of the time they will pay you.
