“SMOKE AND GAS”
FROM THE MULVANE MARAUDERS MAY - 2016 Cheryl is still not feeling well so I will attempt to put out the Newsletter this month, so I apologize now  Club Meeting May 19, at Mulvane Legion began at 6:40 pm with around 38 members present, all enjoyed the barts/hamburgers and cheeseburgers provided by the Legion Women,a great big thanks to them. Call to order: called by Pres. Kevin at 6:40 pm Welcome to new members/guest: none Treasurer report: Steve Nichols gave report, Showdown fees continue to be deposited, our account is good. Presentation:Tyler Henning of Marvelous Metals LLC gave a presentation/demonstration on his company's abilities to perform sheetmetal work. Upcoming Shows: Kevin ran through a list of upcoming shows, please check the website for all shows. Most importantly if you are going to a show please pickup show Showdown Flyers to pass out at the show, we need to get this out to the public. Flyers can be picked up at Shirts Plus in Derby. Update on Showdown in the Valley: only 1 month away. Contact one of the Captains below to volunteer---NOW! -Outside parking-Bob Moorhouse needs gate workers please contact him at 721-6542 or RDM31338@GMAIL.COM to volunteer--NOW! -Inside Parking-Steve Nichols do not need anymore volunteers. -Merchandise-Cheryl Boyes, needs a couple of more volunteers contact at 316-685-6590---NOW! -Door Prizes- no volunteers needed, just get door prizes, if you have questions contact Ron Stalbaum at 316-258-6804 or ron4real@aol.com or Robin or Richard Gunter at 788-7214 or blazer1984@yahoo.com. -Judging-Jack Marinelli-no more judges necessary. -Registration Table-Doug & Jeah Horstman at 777-0351 or doughorstman@cox.net or Bob Barr at 316-214-5600 or barrrobert11@yahoo.com---need volunteers---NOW! -Trash/Marking outside/Water--Steve Dale at steve@jojacs.com or Gerald Keck at 777-4361 Please volunteer, we will find something for you to do, the more volunteers the more successful we will be, if you want to volunteer and be put on the list contact Steve Nichols at stevegnichols@yahoo.com or call/.text 670-0240---NOW! If you volunteer and do not have an orange Staff shirt from last year please let Steve Nichols know and what size you need. -Steve Nichols showed the members the trophies that will be presented at the show, there will be 73 class winners, 6 Best of Class, 4 Best Speciality winners and 2 Best of Show, for a total of 85 trophies. We will try and get a picture of a trophy on the webpage. -Currently have 72 registered participants for the show. -the Club will provide doughnuts for breakfast and BBQ for lunch to all VOLUNTEERs wearing an orange Staff shirt on Saturday June 18th---so VOLUNTEER NOW! -Next club meeting will be at the Kansas Star Arena, at 6:30, we need all members/volunteers to attend, we will be marking the floors, stuffing goodie bags and sitting up the Arena for the show---BE THERE! Winners Circle
Tulip Time Winners: Top 20 Jack Marinelli, Don Heersche and Ralph Henderson had Best of Show, congrats to all.

You are now able to manage your own profile on the Marauders new website. If you are having issues with that, please contact Kasey McDowell and he will be glad to walk you through the new process. You can keep up with your own specifics and add/delete cars and pictures. No reason to miss any notices, alerts, newsletters or announcements!!(If you have an event you would like to have listed on the Events Page of the website, please contact Cheryl or Steve) NEXT CLUB MEETING WILL BE JUNE 16th AT THE KANSAS STAR ARENA STARTING AT 6:30 TO SET UP FOR THE SHOW ALL VOLUNTEERS NEED TO TRY AND COME, WE WILL ALSO HAVE YOUR ORANGE VOLUNTEER SHIRTS!
