    PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, we have a lot going on!!!

     check it out on the calendar. 

    November 7th 1st Club Breakfast  ,8:30 at the Mulvane American Legion, remember we 30 members to show to keep the breakfast going, Adults $8, 6-12 $5, 5 & under FREE!! Larry Lee will be making omeletes.

    November 12th Club Meeting moved from the 19th to November 12th so we can present donation checks.

    November 14th ANOTHER CRUISE--MAYBE??
    We will either go back to the Latham Saloon or the Prairie House Cafe in Leon, if we get members signed up, it will be November 14th. if anyone has other suggestions, let us know, the weather has been great for cruising.     UPDATES

    Club Meeting, October 15th, around 23 members present, a great meal was enjoyed by all , Thanks to the Ladies Auxillary for providing the meal, here's what happened at the meeting:
    -donations of $8,000 were approved for 7 different charities & organizations, we will make the check presentation's at our November 19th meeting.
    -New member Scott Phillips was introduced along with Troy & Kim DeWald all of Mulvane, be sure to say Hi when you see them.
    -Showdown shirts, we decided to sell the left over shirts at $5 each, this is far below what they cost but we are trying to recoup some of the club money, we currently have : 3X-9, 2X-22, L-30, if you would like a shirt please let Steve NIchols know, 670-0240 or stevegnichols@yahoo .com

    -Club calendar, it was decided that we are going to try and put together another club calendar, member Ben Rees (thanks Ben) volunteered to contact Sponsors to see if they want to participate, Steve Nichols will contact Envision to see if they can support producing the calendars, we will start a sign sheet for members who want to have their vehicle(s) in the calendar and another list for who wants a calendar and how many. 
    -our first club breakfast is November 7th, 8:30 at the Mulvane American Legion, remember we 30 members to show to keep the breakfast going, Adults $8, 6-12 $5, 5 & under FREE!!
    -Showdown appreciation dinner, it was decided since Showdown was moved to September due to Corvid, we are going to wait and have both the appreciation dinner and our yearly White elephant dinner after the Holidays, more info to come.
    -discussed another lunch cruise, possibilities are go back to Latham, Oxford, or Leon, if anyone has other suggestions please let us know, the place must be able to hold up to around 50 members, within a 50 miles radius and preferably back roads so we can cruise without heavy traffic.
    -don't forget Kruz'n for Kids on October 25th, check it out on the calendar.

    REMINDER OF CLUB MEETING THIS WEEK

    Club Meeting, October 15th, 6:30 Mulvane Legion, we will be having a "BIG" Showdown T-shirt Sale, we have a number of left over Showdown shirts: 3X-9, 2X-26, XL-3, L-38, M-5, S-2. I will bring them to only this meeting, otherwise you will need to pick them up, all 3 & 2X shirts are $10, all other sizes are $8, this is our cost of the shirts. If you want a shirt and can't be at the meeting you can let me know and I will put it aside, stevegnichols@yahoo.com or 316-670-0240. We will be discussing who and how much to donate Showdown funds too, possible cruise, club calendar, Showdown dinner, and a few other items. The Ladies Auxillary will also be providing another great meal, you can either get a Cod Fish Basket with seasoned potatoes, coleslaw and either a roll or hush puppies, if you don't want fish how about a Chicken Strip Basket with seasoned potatoes, gravy, coleslaw and either a roll or hush puppies, either basket is only $6.00, what a deal!! Be sure to "THANK" the Ladies, they do a great job.
