    LATHAM CRUISE
    -what a gorgeous cruise through the Flint Hills to the Latham Saloon, around 40 members had a great cruise and great food, we will need to do some more cruising like this. Pictures of the cruise is on our website, check them out. 

    -Crusin For Camp Show
    - another absolutely beautiful day for a show, 117 vehicles showed up making this the biggest event the Boy Scouts have ever had, somewhere around 20  Marauders attended, great job Marauders supporting these kids, and congrats to Ralph Henderson & Steve Caudill for winning trophies.

    Club Meeting, October 15th, 6:30 Mulvane Legion, we will be having a "BIG" Showdown T-shirt Sale, we have a number of left over Showdown shirts: 3X-9, 2X-27, XL-5, L-38, M-4, S-1. I will bring them to only this meeting, otherwise you will need to pick them up, all 3 & 2X shirts are $10, all other sizes are $8, this is our cost of the shirts. If you want a shirt and can't be at the meeting you can let me know and I will put it aside, stevegnichols@yahoo.com or 316-670-0240. We will be discussing who and how much to donate Showdown funds too, the Ladies Auxillary will also be providing another great meal, I will let everyone know what the meal is before the meeting.

    Club Breakfast
    -it's about time to start the club breakfast again, November 7th will be our first, 8:30 at the Mulvane American Legion, remember we need 30 members to show to  keep the breakfast going, Adults $8, 6-12 $5, 5 & under FREE!! Checkout the club calendar for the other dates, usually the first Saturday of the month.

    LATHAM CRUISE-September 19th---we are full---44
    -Club Cruise to the Latham Saloon (36 miles straight East of Mulvane) for a late lunch, this will take place on Saturday, September 19th, we will meet at the Mulvane American Legion and leave at straight up 11:00 am, you don't have to cruise in your hot rod, jump in the daily driver. 
    Here is who has signed up so far: Phil Horner-2, Earl Gartrell-2, Ron Cummings-4, Stephen Caudill-2, Steve Nichols-2, Dick Cole-1, Bryce Schreiber-2, Tom Horner-2, Doyle Phillips-2, Ed Johnson-1, Jim Thomas-2, Larry Taylor-2, Ralph Henderson-1, Carl Henderson-1, Troy DeWald-2, George Leach-2, Tim Riffel-2, Don Heersche-2, Fred Cook-2, Jerry Fletcher-2, Tom Sparkman-2,

    LATHAM CRUISE-September 19th---let me know today if you are going!!!
    -Club Cruise to the Latham Saloon (36 miles straight East of Mulvane) for a late lunch, this will take place on Saturday, September 19th, we will meet at the Mulvane American Legion and leave at straight up 11:00 am, you don't have to cruise in your hot rod, jump in the daily driver and join in on the fun.. The Saloon offers a very nice menu(see below), goggle them and check them out. A sign up sheet was started, currently have 40 signed up, so if you want to have a little fun, great food and a beautiful cruise please let Cheryl or Steve know and how many, please let us know by September 14th, we need to tell the Saloon how many of us are coming, contact us at:

Even though it started out rough with rain and heavy fog, you all managed to pull off a great event, one of the few shows this year. We will have all the numbers to present to you at the next club meeting, we will be deciding who and how much to donate this year, so try to attend.
