REQUEST FOR SUPPORT
I received a phone call and the info below for a request to support the Family Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wichita. If any club member is available and interested please contact Demetra at her number below. This is a worthwhile event so if you can, give her a call. It is not known yet what restrictions we may be under due to the Pandemic, but hopefully by this time we will be getting back to normal. I believe the facility is located at 639 S Maize Ct in Wichita, so hopefully some members in NW Wichita can help her out.
Hi this is Demetra Austin from Family Health and Rehabilitation Center,
I am calling regarding the phone conversation that we had earlier today. We are wanting to do a car cruise for our residents the Thursday before Father's day which is 6/18/20, we would like to have this event at about 3:30 to 4:30.
However we're up for discussion on the time. I can be reached at 316-425-8355, that is my direct line here at Family Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hopefully we'll be able to have a June meeting???
I hope this announcement finds all of you safe, healthy and staying at home if you can. We
look forward to seeing all of you when the time is right!
A couple of announcements:
*Per Royce Taylor - president of the Wichita Area Council of Car Clubs - the 2020 Lake Afton Car Show
scheduled for June 14, has been CANCELED. Not knowing what things will look like in the next few weeks
until the show, they thought it was in the best interest of everyone to cancel for this year and look forward
to next year's show on June 13, 2021!
*Per Ron Wagoner - he informed me that the Cruise-Ins at Central and West have
been discontinued. This was a decision made by new management of the property and not just temporarily because
of Covid19 and the stay at home order. We have been cruisin there for several years and I know the car community
will miss this weekly get together. Ron appreciates everyone attending these cruises and if anything changes in the
future, he will let us know.
Everyone take care of yourselves and one another, be safe and stay healthy.
Due to Governor Kelly’s Phase 1.5, with a limit of 10 people, we will not be meeting this coming Thursday, May 21st. In the meantime be sure to stay safe.
I think everyone did a good job, as usual.
Thank you for a great time today Very nice show We had a good turnout even with the rain Keep me in mind for the next year show at Kansas Star Arena Whipped Designs and Wicked Knives
